María Zardoya covers Radiohead's “Nude” at her first Not For Radio show

María Zardoya, singer of The Marías, played Radiohead's “Nude”, from In Rainbows, on Monday 5 January at the Fox Theater in Oakland, California, at the first show of her solo project Not For Radio. It came ninth in a 15-song set, between “Slip” and “Swan” from her album Melt, and was the one song of the night that was neither hers nor The Marías'.

The rest of the set was Melt, her debut as Not For Radio, out last October, three new songs and a stretched-out “No One Noticed” by The Marías.

The night was the first of three at the Fox to open her first tour. In a four-star review of Melt, Rolling Stone had already named Radiohead among the record's touchstones, with William Basinski and Julee Cruise.
