Phil Selway and Adrian Utley to close Gloucester History Festival

Phil Selway and Portishead's Adrian Utley close this year's Gloucester History Festival on Sunday 20 September, with an evening at Blackfriars Priory billed as “Radiohead Meets Portishead”. Utley has played with Selway before, as the guitarist on “Picking Up Pieces”, from Selway's third solo album, Strange Dance, in 2023. Tickets are £12 in person or £7 for the livestream.

The historian and broadcaster Janina Ramirez, the festival's president, talks with the two of them about their bands and the music of the 1990s, and then Selway and Utley play a live set together.
