Vera Blue covers “Creep” for triple j's Like A Version

Vera Blue has covered “Creep” for Like A Version, triple j's covers segment, in a session posted on Friday 7 August. She plays it on piano and electric guitar, with a sound pipe, an effects device that is blown into, coming in towards the end.

It is her third time on the segment as lead artist; she first came to notice on the Australian version of The Voice, singing as Celia Pavey. She used the same session to premiere “Maze”, a new song from her next record.

Blue told triple j she finds the song heartbreaking and relatable. I think the whole point of the version was to keep the raw emotion of the original song there², she says.
