Song · Kid A / Amnesiac era (2000–01)
The Amazing Sounds of Orgy
A krautrock groove with ondes Martenot over it, released behind “Pyramid Song” and revived on stage eleven years later.
2001
the b-side
It came out on the first CD of the “Pyramid Song” single: a hypnotic, repeating groove in the Can manner with Jonny Greenwood's ondes Martenot over the top. The words are about consumption and spectacle, and the title has attracted a great deal of speculation and no explanation from the band.
Among the songs left off Amnesiac, this is one of the two or three that fans still argue about.
2012
six nights, all at once
The archive's performances all fall in 2012, on the King of Limbs tour, from Dallas on 5 March to Tinley Park on 10 June: a B-side from eleven years earlier put back in the set for a single spring.
