Live in Montreal (July 2016)
The Sunday Radiohead closed was the fastest day to sell out in Osheaga's history.
2016
the only Canadian date
Nick Farkas of Evenko, Osheaga's founder, had been trying to book Radiohead since the festival's first year. In 2016 he got them, for their only Canadian date of the year, on the last night of the festival's 11th edition. To give them the time they asked for, the festival took an act off one of the main stages.
They wanted to play for two hours, and to me, there's no such thing as too much Radiohead.
Nick Farkas · Postmedia, July 2016
It was the band's third night at Parc Jean-Drapeau, after 2001 and an In Rainbows night in 2008.

the River Stage
They had the River Stage from ten to nine until ten to eleven. T'Cha Dunlevy, reviewing for the Montreal Gazette, put the crowd at about 45,000, older than the one Lana Del Rey had drawn the night before, and had the music playing out under the sunset. The set opened on “Burn the Witch” and “Daydreaming”, and by “2 + 2 = 5” and “Bodysnatchers” the band were playing hard. “Ok, now that you're all awake,” Thom Yorke told the crowd, “we can begin.”
“Feral”, from The King of Limbs, was in only six of the year's setlists, and here it came straight after “The Gloaming”. For Dunlevy it was a band at full strength, and the right note for the festival to end on.
On the written setlist, the last song of the second encore was down as “Silent Night”. It was “Creep”.
