Radiohead's “Creep” peaks at number 34 on the Billboard Hot 100
“Creep” has reached number 34 on the Billboard Hot 100, on the chart dated 4 September, ten weeks after it entered at the end of June.
Parlophone released the single in September 1992. American alternative radio picked it up in the spring of 1993, and it went up to number two on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart, 17 weeks on that chart in all. The Hot 100, which counts sales and airplay across every format, took longer to follow.
In Britain, where it made little mark the first time, Parlophone is putting it out again this month.
