Radiohead play Portland for the first time, at La Luna

written up for the archive

Radiohead played their first Portland show at La Luna on Thursday 8 July, and it cost $2 to get in. They were opening for Ned's Atomic Dustbin, barely two weeks into their first tour of the United States, and Crash Vegas were on the bill too, as they will be again at Slim's in San Francisco on Sunday.

The Oregonian's critic Marty Hughley previewed the date, and found “Creep” funny and unsettling at once.
