Jonny Greenwood says Radiohead have new songs and no plans after October

Jonny Greenwood took fans' questions in a live Yahoo chat on 8 August. He said there are lots of new songs written¹ for the album that will follow Amnesiac, and that the band are now working out how to arrange them.

Asked about “True Love Waits”, he said they still cannot decide how to approach recording it. The song has been played live since 1995 without ever getting a studio release, and it has come back on this American tour, at Santa Barbara on 30 June and in Grant Park, Chicago on 1 August.

The American dates end at the Hollywood Bowl on 20 August, and Japan closes the run at Yokohama Arena on 4 October. Greenwood said there are no plans after October¹, though the band hope to play more shows in Britain in 2002.
