ITV used the closing part of “2+2=5” over its Champions League highlights of Rangers against Manchester United this week, and on Monday its Premiership coverage ran “Where I End and You Begin”.
In the United States, ABC went into a commercial break on Monday Night Football in mid-October with an instrumental “Go to Sleep”, which viewers heard as the song's beginning, middle and end spliced together with no vocal.
In Britain the History Channel has put the piano part of “Sail to the Moon” under all its trailers for Remembrance Week and Remembrance Sunday, and behind Remembrance, a short programme in which relatives share their memories of soldiers who died in battle.
