Mojo puts The Bends sixth among the greatest guitar albums
first posted on Treefingers by Miro · rewritten for the archive
A panel of Mojo writers has chosen the 100 greatest guitar albums of all time and put The Bends at number six, one place below My Bloody Valentine's Loveless. They are the only two records from the 1990s in the top ten.
Number one is the Jimi Hendrix Experience's Are You Experienced, from 1967. Only the top 20 are ranked in order. The Rolling Stones' Exile on Main St. is 11th, and no Beatles album makes the top 20.
