first posted on Treefingers by Miro · rewritten for the archive
Radiohead played Les Eurockéennes at the Presqu'île de Malsaucy in Belfort on Friday, and at the end of “Karma Police”, the last song of the night, Thom Yorke carried on singing on his own and the crowd kept singing after him. It was their second time at the festival, six years to the day after the first, on 4 July 1997.
The 19-song set opened with “There There” and “2+2=5” and closed the main set with “Everything in Its Right Place”, which Yorke started with a few lines of Neil Young's “After the Gold Rush”.
