Radiohead's Rock Werchter webcast cuts out after three songs
first posted on Treefingers by Miro · rewritten for the archive
Radiohead headlined the main stage at Rock Werchter in Belgium on Thursday 26 June, and anyone following online got three songs of it. The Belgian portal Skynet.be streamed the night live, and the stream stopped after “There There”, “2+2=5” and “Morning Bell”.
Skynet's multimedia pages carry a ten-minute interview with Colin Greenwood.
The Dutch station 3FM broadcasts recordings from the festival this weekend, Radiohead's set among them, on Saturday from 8pm and on Sunday from 3pm, both running until 1am.
The band came on at 23:40, after Björk, for their fourth Werchter, following 1996, 1997 and two nights in 2000. They played 21 songs, seven of them from Hail to the Thief, and came back for two encores, the second of them “Karma Police” on its own.
