The Flaming Lips pick Radiohead's “Pyramid Song” for Late Night Tales

The Flaming Lips have chosen Radiohead's “Pyramid Song” for their Late Night Tales, a mix of favourite songs for the British compilation series. It is due in February and will be sold only in the UK. The one new recording, also due as a limited 7-inch, is the Lips' cover of the White Stripes' “Seven Nation Army”.

Björk's “Unravel”, Nick Drake's “River Man” and Brian Eno's “Another Green World” are on the mix as well, along with Miles Davis and Aphex Twin. “Pyramid Song” sits 17th of the 20 tracks, after Sebadoh and just before 10cc's “I'm Not in Love”.
