Vitamin Records give Kid A the string quartet treatment
first posted on Treefingers by Miro · rewritten for the archive
Vitamin Records have released Strung Out on Kid A: The String Quartet Tribute to Radiohead (VIT-8829), played by The Tallywood Strings. It follows the label's string quartet tribute to OK Computer, and takes all ten songs of Kid A in the album's order.
The label's notes present it as proof that the band's writing holds up without the electronics, with violins, viola and cello standing in for the album's sounds.
