Michael Cunningham credits OK Computer in the notes to The Hours

The booklet of the soundtrack to The Hours, whose Oscar-nominated score is by Philip Glass, carries a note from Michael Cunningham, who wrote the novel. Each of his books, he writes, has gathered a soundtrack of its own. For The Hours it was Schubert's Death and the Maiden, Brian Eno's Music for Airports, Peter Gabriel's “Mercy Street” and, for reasons I can't begin to explain, Radiohead's OK Computer.
