Q's April 2004 issue lists the 50 best music videos ever and puts “Street Spirit (Fade Out)” at number 26.
Q tells how Jonathan Glazer took the band out to the Californian desert and shot on a Photosonics ultra slow-motion camera. Jonny jumps into a caravan while the others, filmed in real time, look on, and one Thom jumps slowly over a stick swung quickly by another. Thom's backwards jump from the trailer roof landed on a safety mattress, edited out of the finished film.
