Jonny Greenwood is featured artist on NPR's All Songs Considered
NPR's All Songs Considered has made Jonny Greenwood the featured artist of its 9 March show, and played “Moon Trills” from his score for Bodysong, the documentary that follows human life from birth to death. Capitol put the soundtrack out in the US on 24 February.
Sigur Rós were on the same show with “Ba Ba”, from their music for Merce Cunningham's dance Split Sides, so both of Cunningham's bands had a turn. Radiohead wrote the other half of that score for its premiere at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in October, and Jonny said in January that their half will not be released.
Billboard's review picked out “Moon Trills” for its buzzing strings under a solemn melody.
