Blueprint builds a Greenhouse Effect EP from Radiohead samples

Blueprint, the Columbus, Ohio rapper and producer, is putting out an EP made from Radiohead samples with his original group Greenhouse Effect. He tells Gabe Gloden of Columbus Alive that Greenhouse Effect vs. Radiohead is due around the second week of April, when the group start Weightless Records' Weightless Invasion tour of the Midwest with their labelmate Illogic. A full-length album, Columbus or Bust, follows it.

Blueprint has steered clear of the obvious choices such as “Karma Police” and taken the interludes and changes near the ends of songs, parts fans should recognise without quite placing. He has also used pieces of the band's documentary and recordings of Thom Yorke talking about music and how his work is received.

We know we're probably going to get sued and a lot of distributors aren't going to carry it

The plan is to sell it by word of mouth through smaller shops. Asked whether the EP is a way to meet Yorke, he says it could be either the singer or his lawyer.
