Tré Cool says he locked Phil Selway in his hotel room

Tré Cool, Green Day's drummer, says he locked Phil Selway in his room at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles after Selway complained about the noise of a late Green Day party.
Selway, trying to sleep nearby, knocked and asked Cool to turn the music down. Cool tells Contactmusic that he switched it off, and moments later put on a different record, Radiohead's OK Computer. He also tied a rope around Selway's door so that he could not get out.
In Cool's telling, Selway shouted that he would tell Thom. Cool's defence is that any band walking into a room where their own album is playing loud ought to take it as a compliment.
