Follow Me Around, a 45-minute film by two Radiohead fans, Nazare and Samuel, has its first public screening at the Greenwich Picturehouse in London on Friday 21 October. The night is billed “On A Friday”, after the band's old name, and is an evening by and for Radiohead fans, with a get-together afterwards.
The screenings are part of Artful, which calls itself a non-conventional convention and runs until 31 October. The film shows again on 29 October beside Faction, short films and film poems by the Welsh writer Patrick Jones. Tickets for each night are £5.
The two shot the film with the band's co-operation on the 2002 tour of Spain and Portugal, the dates at which Radiohead first played songs that went on to Hail to the Thief. It follows the fans who travelled from all over the world to the shows, and cuts their candid footage with live performance and interviews with the band.
