G4's “Creep”, the song they sang in the X Factor final in December, is track five of their debut album, G4, which went straight in at number one in the UK albums chart of 6 March.
G4 are four classically trained singers who came second in the first series of The X Factor, and “Creep” would have been their first single had they won. In January The Sun reported that they had signed a £1.5 million deal with Sony Music. The album came out on Sony BMG on 28 February, and it is all covers, from “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Nessun Dorma” to “Everybody Hurts”, “Jerusalem” and “You'll Never Walk Alone”.
“Bohemian Rhapsody” came out as a single on 14 March and reached number nine. So far there are no plans to release “Creep”.
