Spin names OK Computer the best album of the past 20 years

OK Computer is the best album of the past 20 years in the US magazine Spin's 20th birthday issue, ahead of Public Enemy's It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back and Nirvana's Nevermind. The magazine picked it for having foreseen, with uncanny accuracy, the shared distress of the whole world today.
Sia Michel, the editor-in-chief, says records released since 1985 were judged on brilliance, innovation and relevance, not on sales. Hip hop accounts for more than a quarter of the top 100, and The Smiths and PJ Harvey are the other British acts in it.
