Radiohead closed the V Festival at Weston Park in Staffordshire on Sunday 20 August with “Creep”, played on its own in a second encore. To fit it in, NME says, they ran past the stage's 10.50pm curfew. It had closed the Chelmsford night the day before too, and until that weekend the band had not played it since 2004.

Earlier in the night, NME reports, someone in the crowd heckled the band, and Thom Yorke answered from the stage, angrily. Would you like to come up here and say that?1 he asked, and then You realise you're pushing it, right?1

Three of the 21 songs are unreleased: “Videotape”, “Nude” and “All I Need”. In a poll published on Wednesday, NME's readers had voted “Just” the song they most wanted to hear at V, and the band played it, with seven more of the readers' top ten. They left out “Let Down”, which came second, and “Exit Music (for a Film)”.
