Radiohead off the road until the new album is finished
Radiohead will not play live again until their new album is finished, Thom Yorke told BBC 6 Music at the Mercury Prize ceremony in London on Tuesday 5 September. The band are going away for the rest of the year, and in his words we're not let out 'til it's done.

Yorke was at the Grosvenor House Hotel because his solo album, The Eraser, was on the 12-album shortlist, and he was one of eight shortlisted acts who played on the night, singing “Analyse”. The prize went to Arctic Monkeys for Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not.
The band have spent the summer playing the new songs, up to a last night at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam on 28 August. “Bodysnatchers” and “All I Need” have both been heard, but the album still has no title. NME reports the band are making it with Nigel Godrich, and expects nothing new before 2007.
