Radiohead played São Paulo for the first time on Sunday 22 March, headlining the second night of Just a Fest at the Chácara do Jockey in front of about 30,000 people. Los Hermanos, reunited for the festival about two years after their last shows, opened at 6.30 pm. Kraftwerk played before Radiohead came on at ten.

The set ran to about two hours and 20 minutes, under the tour's hanging white tubes. Every song from In Rainbows was in it, and Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood played “Faust Arp” on two acoustic guitars with nobody else on stage.

“Fake Plastic Trees”, left out in Rio two nights before, was in the first encore. In Brazil it is known as “the Carlinhos song”, after a television advert about Down's syndrome that used it, and the Diário do Grande ABC counts it among the most emotional moments of the night.

The loudest singing came in “Paranoid Android”, when Yorke stopped and let the crowd take the “rain down” passage alone; the paper says they were still singing after the song had ended.

Yorke said little all night beyond “obrigado” and “boa noite”. Before the third encore he asked the crowd to guess what was coming next, and the band played “Creep”, on its own.
