It is a world premiere, in the festival's Special Events section, and Anderson will be there to present it. The film is 54 minutes long, and the festival is on from 25 September to 11 October.
The record belongs to the Israeli composer Shye Ben Tzur, and Greenwood went to India earlier this year to record it with his longtime friend and producer Nigel Godrich. Greenwood had played guitar in Ben Tzur's band at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London in May 2014, Ben Tzur's first show in Britain.
Greenwood has scored Anderson's last three films, There Will Be Blood, The Master and Inherent Vice. Greenwood and Anderson were the guests of the Maharaja of Jodhpur, and the album was made in his 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort with six brass players, five percussionists, two string players and six singers, some of them qawwals. Anderson went to India with Greenwood as a friend and took his camera.
