Radiohead nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame again
Radiohead are among 15 nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's class of 2019, named on 9 October. It is their second nomination. Last year, their first year of eligibility, they were on the ballot and were not voted in. Rage Against the Machine are back for a second try too. No act in its first year of eligibility made the list this time. The ceremony is on 29 March 2019 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
When they were first eligible, most of the band told Rolling Stone in June 2017 that the Hall held little interest for them. Colin Greenwood alone said he would be grateful to get in, though he doubted the others would come with him.
It might be me just doing bass versions of everything like, 'Come on, you know this one!' I'd have to play the bass part to 'Creep' five times.
