Thom Yorke has brought “Reckoner” into his solo shows, the first Radiohead song of a Tomorrow's Modern Boxes tour that had largely kept away from the band's records. It came in to open the first encore at the Cathedral Theatre in Detroit's Masonic Temple on Sunday 2 December, a sold-out night of 20 songs and about two hours by Billboard's account. It was there again at the Chicago Theatre on Tuesday 4 December. Illinois Entertainer has photographs of the night.

Nigel Godrich, Radiohead's producer, was on stage with Yorke on a North American leg that began in Philadelphia on 23 November. The London cellist and producer Oliver Coates opened.

The Chicago set also ran to 20 songs, drawn from The Eraser, Tomorrow's Modern Boxes, the Suspiria score and two Atoms for Peace songs. “Unmade”, from Suspiria, was the second encore on its own and closed the night.
