The run falls between Radiohead's South American dates in April and their North American tour, which starts in July. The cellist Oliver Coates supports on every date except Barcelona.
Barcelona was booked first. In January Sónar added Yorke to its 25th edition for a live mix of Radiohead and solo songs. Spain's Radio 3 put him on the festival's Saturday night, which now closes the tour.
Nigel Godrich plays with Yorke and mixes the sound live, and Tarik Barri makes the visuals as the music plays. The set draws on Yorke's whole solo career, mixed live in the manner of the electronic set he played at Club To Club in Turin. The three did a pair of shows together in 2017, and at the one at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles Yorke first played a new song, “I'm a Very Rude Person”.
