The band's resale page says buyers need not have registered at radiohead.com, so the code system that shut so many fans out of the September sale plays no part in it.
That sale opened on 12 September, and all 20 nights went within minutes, while fans reported error messages, a crashing site and failed registrations. Fans who got no code were put on a waiting list, and the band said unsold tickets in a city could still go out by email, with a code and at least 24 hours' notice. The list was used on Friday 10 October, when Radiohead posted on Instagram that a few more codes were on their way and told everyone who had registered to check their inbox, junk and spam folders. As in September, a code opens the sale for the one city chosen at registration and does not guarantee a ticket.
The resale is for holders who can no longer go. They sell at face value plus any fees, only through the official platform for their city, and Radio X says buyers register with that city's ticket agent. Some fans had accused the band online of feeding the secondary market, where, they said, prices ran very high, and the band now say third-party sites will be watched for tickets offered above face value; a ticket sold anywhere but the official platform is liable to be cancelled.
