Colin Greenwood to tour Europe with the Bad Seeds in 2026

written up for the archive

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have announced a summer of outdoor headline shows and festivals across Europe in 2026, with Colin Greenwood on bass. The run starts at Malahide Castle in Ireland on 10 June and ends at Rock en Seine in Paris on 28 August, with more dates to come in between. The one British date, at Preston Park in Brighton on 31 July, was announced in September as a homecoming for Cave and is already sold out.

The shows follow the 2024 album Wild God, on which Greenwood played. He took the bass chair in 2024, standing in for Martyn Casey, who could not tour through illness, and stayed for the North American leg this spring. Casey is not in the 2026 band.

At the time Greenwood told MOJO that he was a guest musician, not a member. Am I a Bad Seed now? No! I love the Bad Seeds as they are.3
