Roger Waters turns on Thom Yorke again, and puts their letters in his memoir

Roger Waters has gone after Thom Yorke again, this time on The Katie Halper Show. Asked about Radiohead, he first told the host not to go there, then changed his mind. He's a timid little bloke. I think he's unpleasant company.¹

The quarrel is about Israel. In 2017 Waters signed an open letter asking Radiohead not to play Tel Aviv, and last December he called Yorke damaged and insecure, taking in Jonny Greenwood too. Far Out and OndaRock link the new remarks to Yorke's Instagram statement on Gaza in May, which said Benjamin Netanyahu and his extremists had to be stopped by international pressure and called for the hostages to be freed.

Waters says he wrote Yorke many letters, and Yorke answered them. It's all going in my memoir. He got very very snarky and he was trying to be fun[ny].¹
