It is short and acoustic, recorded in a single take and engineered by Jim Warren, the band's live sound engineer, rather than by John Leckie. It went onto the second of the two “My Iron Lung” CD singles.
The song is exactly what the title says: a complaint about someone who leaves the washing up. The version released is a live recording, which is noted here because the catalogue's audit found the distinction worth keeping.
