Arte, the Franco-German culture channel, shows Music Planet 2Nite from Le Réservoir in Paris tomorrow, Tuesday 18 November, at 23:05, with 62 minutes of the acoustic set Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood played there on 3 July. Ray Cokes presents.
It was a night off from the European festivals, and Colin Greenwood, Phil Selway and Ed O'Brien were in the room. Asked by Arte's website why they were not all playing, they said Yorke and Jonny had done an acoustic show in New York recently, that it had been great, and that it was a challenging way to present the songs.
Ten of the 12 songs from the night make the programme, with “Go to Sleep” and “Karma Police” cut. It ends on “Fog”, the “Knives Out” B-side the two rarely play, which NME picked out from the night, and then on an interview with the band at the bar.
