Capitol's Radiohead text line sends an exclusive live track every week

Radiohead 2250, the text-message service Capitol Records run for the band's North American tour, is sending an exclusive live recording each week for five weeks. The first, from 1 October, was “A Punch-Up at a Wedding”, and this week's is “Sit Down. Stand Up.”. AT&T Wireless customers get them by texting RADIO to 2250; incoming texts are free, and each one sent costs 10 cents without a messaging plan.

Capitol, Radiohead's American label, started the service in August and bill it as the Wireless All-Access Tour. It has the tour's setlists and dates, photos, fan reviews and a draw for Radiohead merchandise, and samples of live tracks, two of them from Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood's session at Electric Lady Studios in New York on 4 June.
