Radiohead play “Creep” in Britain again at Earls Court

Radiohead played “Creep” on the second of their two nights at Earls Court in London on 27 November, the first time the song has been heard at a British show since the homecoming at South Park, Oxford, on 7 July 2001. It came ninth, between “Myxomatosis” and “Paranoid Android”. On this tour it has turned up only now and then: in Tokyo, in Boston and a few other North American cities, and in Paris ten days ago.

XFM carried the concert live in London on 104.9 FM, its coverage starting at 7pm with Ian Camfield presenting a Music:Response special from backstage. In America, where it is Thanksgiving, Westwood One has offered its stations a two-hour special, Radiohead Live from Earl's Court, recorded tonight and free to air from 9pm Eastern until Sunday.

“There There” opened the night, and “The Gloaming”, which opened the first night, came 14th. In the second encore the band played “Follow Me Around”, an unreleased song NME dates to around the OK Computer years, which they had also played for the BBC in Manchester six days earlier.
