Radiohead's In Rainbows basement session goes on sale on iTunes

Radiohead's In Rainbows – From the Basement, ten songs from In Rainbows filmed live for Nigel Godrich's session series From the Basement, went on sale as a video album on 24 June, and only through iTunes. It came out on the first of the band's two nights at Victoria Park in London.

The session was made in the basement room at The Hospital in Covent Garden, London, with Godrich producing and David Barnard directing. Uncut says it was filmed in a single day. VH1 showed it first, in the US in May.

Two of the ten, “Go Slowly” and “Bangers + Mash”, come from the second disc of the In Rainbows discbox. On “Bangers + Mash” Thom Yorke sings while playing drums on a second kit set up beside Phil Selway's.
