Radiohead change 11 songs and bring back the hits at Victoria Park

Radiohead swapped 11 of their 25 songs for the second of their two nights at Victoria Park in Hackney on Wednesday, and in came “Lucky”, “No Surprises” and “Karma Police”, none of which had been played on Tuesday. The Bends got two songs in the first encore, the title track and “My Iron Lung”.

The first night had drawn criticism in some quarters, Drowned In Sound reports, for leaving out the best-known songs of the OK Computer years, though it did find room for “Airbag”, “Climbing Up the Walls” and “The Tourist”. All three were dropped on Wednesday, along with “Pyramid Song”, “How to Disappear Completely” and Thom Yorke's solo song “Cymbal Rush”.

Fourteen songs stayed from one night to the next, “Nude”, “15 Step” and “Videotape” among them. “Reckoner”, late in the main set on Tuesday, opened the show this time. The second encore began with “Go Slowly”, which the band have played only a handful of times this year, in London in April and then in Charlotte, Bristow and Milan.

The night ended with “Paranoid Android”, another song Tuesday's crowd had gone without.
