Paste gives away Radiohead's whole 1995 show at Tramps
Paste magazine is giving away a recording of Radiohead's full show at Tramps in New York on 1 June 1995, as a free MP3 download through NoiseTrade. Listeners can leave a tip, and all of it goes to Amnesty International. Scott Bernstein, writing for Glide, rates the sound very good.
The Bends had been out about three months. Ten of its songs are in the 16-song set, all but “Sulk” and “(Nice Dream)”, and the other six come from Pablo Honey. The running order is much the same as on the band's nights either side, at Toad's Place in New Haven on 30 May and the Black Cat in Washington on 2 June.
Earlier that day they had played “Fake Plastic Trees” at Center Church on the Green in New Haven, sent by satellite to that evening's Top of the Pops on BBC One.
