“Let Down” is TikTok's second-biggest song of 2025 in Britain
Radiohead's “Let Down” is number two in TikTok's UK Top 10 Songs of the Year, published on 9 December. The only song above it is another old one, Jess Glynne's “Hold My Hand”, brought back a decade on by the “Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday” meme. The climb of “Let Down” on TikTok and into the Billboard Hot 100 is our story of 26 October.
In Music Week, Andre Paine puts Radiohead with Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas and Coldplay as catalogue acts the app brought back into circulation.
“Let Down” is in the global Top 20 too, at 17, in a list headed by Connie Francis's 1962 “Pretty Little Baby”. NME links the song's year on the app to the band's first tour dates in seven years.
