Radiohead unveil the red Amnesiac sleeve on radiohead.com
Radiohead have put the cover of Amnesiac up on radiohead.com. It is a photograph of a worn red clothbound book with threads hanging from its spine, and drawn on it in pencil is a small weeping figure, which NME describes as an animal covering its eyes. The artwork is by Stanley Donwood and Thom Yorke (credited as Tchocky), the pair who made the Kid A sleeve.
The album is out on 4 June, with “Pyramid Song” out as a single on 21 May. NME reports that its opening track, “Packt Like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box”, is now on Napster for anyone to download.
