Radiohead end their lockdown concert films with Belfort 1997

Radiohead's weekly concert films on YouTube end with the 13th, their set at Les Eurockéennes in Belfort on 4 July 1997, which premieres on Thursday 2 July at 10pm UK time. The series began on 9 April, and the band promised a film a week until restrictions eased or they ran out of shows. The band said on Instagram on 1 July that it would be the last of the series for now, with the UK government about to lift more of the lockdown on 4 July. The esteemed government of the United Kingdom has deemed it time to ease lockdown. We will of course see how that goes. See you later. Or possibly sooner.¹

Colin Greenwood called it Lucky #13, the final lockdown premiere concert of the series⁴, and the Belfort set did open with “Lucky”, after a taped “Fitter Happier”. The band played it about a fortnight after OK Computer came out: 15 songs, with “Airbag”, “Exit Music (For a Film)”, “Paranoid Android” and “Climbing Up the Walls” from the new album, and “Creep” and “Just” at the end.
