Phil Selway drums on Ed O'Brien's next EOB album

Phil Selway has played drums on a couple of songs for Ed O'Brien's next EOB album, O'Brien said on Instagram on Tuesday 26 March. It is the follow-up to Earth, which he released as EOB in 2020, and at New Year he said he was deep into making it.

O'Brien called Selway the most soulful of drummers and thanked him for a long friendship. Just so good to hear you play on these songs¹, he wrote, and signed off with Sister Sledge's “We Are Family”.

Selway's whole reply under the post was Wonderful music and company. Beautiful day!¹
