They headlined the SUE festival at the Estadio Nacional in Santiago before a crowd the Chilean press put at about 50,000. El Desconcierto has photographs of the night.
The night opened a South American leg. SUE, short for Santiago Urbano Electrónico, had Flying Lotus and the Chilean band Föllakzoid lower on the bill, and Junun, Jonny Greenwood's project with the Israeli composer Shye Ben Tzur.
“Treefingers” played on tape as the band came on and led into “Daydreaming”, and “All I Need” had a false start. The set reached back for album tracks that come round less often: “Where I End and You Begin”, “Exit Music (for a Film)” and, in the first encore, “The Bends”. Thom Yorke broke into laughter after a sneeze in the second chorus of “Karma Police”, the last of their 26 songs.
