The RIAA has certified Hail to the Thief gold, for 500,000 copies shipped in the United States, five weeks after Capitol released it there on 10 June. That makes every Radiohead album at least gold in America.
On the Billboard 200 the album has been sliding since it went in at number three on the chart dated 28 June, on nearly 300,000 copies.
Pablo Honey, The Bends and Kid A have gone platinum, OK Computer double platinum and Amnesiac gold.
